Original Report

British Prime Minister Golden Brown arrived on an unannounced visit in the southern Helmand province on Saturday and met with British troops and local officials on security and reconstruction issues.

Helmand Governor Gulab Mangal told Pajhwok Afghan News Brown flew into the Taliban heartland around noon and met British troops based in the province.
