A newly-constructed building costing $13 million for the police headquarters was inaugurated in western Nimroz province on Tuesday.
Deputy Interior Ministry Munir Mangal, officials of the NATO-led ISAF, US troops and provincial authorities were present at the inaugural ceremony.
Police chief Col. Abdul Jabbar Purdali told Pajhwok Afghan News the building had 12 blocks. He said the new headquarters had been constructed on 30 acres of land.
