Blast victims' bodies handed over to kin

Residents collected on Friday charred and mutilated bodies of their relatives killed in a deadly suicide attack in the Deh Rawood district of south-central Uruzgan province.

Administrative chief of the district Khalifa Sadaat told Pajhwok Afghan News police kept the bodies in the district centre following Thursday's explosion and handed them over to their relatives this morning.

Most of the bodies were mutilated beyond recognition, Sadat said, adding there were pieces of human flesh scattered everywhere at the site of the suicide attack. The bomber was reportedly kept in a basement of a hotel owned by Haji Nasim.
